Thanassis holds a BSc in Mathematics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, an MSc in Business Computing from the University of Westminster, London, UK, a Project Management certification from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and an MBA diploma from the ALBA Business School.

Until today he has worked as a software developer and system administrator for a number of companies in the travel, maritime, telecom and IT sector. In 1999 he joined Compaq Computer S.A. Greece as a system administrator. Starting from 2005 and for 7 years he has worked as a Senior SAP JAVA Developer at Info Quest Technologies EDP Dept., working on SAP CRM Internet Sales platform, developing b2c & b2b e-commerce sites, portals and services.

From 2013, Thanassis is the Ecommerce Technical Manager for Info Quest Technologies with the following core competences:

- Software Solution Architect
- Cloud Solution Architect
- Project Manager

He is also an Apple iOS developer for iPhone & iPad apps, developing advanced cross platform services.

Thanassis has 10+ years of experience of architecture, design, implementation and support of highly distributed applications (i.e. having an architectural sense for ensuring availability, reliability, etc.) and 3 years of experience in "migrating" on premise workloads to the cloud.

Besides his strong analysis and methodical problem solving abilities, creating innovating and logical solutions to resolve complex problems, his final concern is bridging the gaps between software engineering and human-computer interaction.
