Born in Sparta in 1962, he studied Electrical - Electronic Engineering (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) and acquired a M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of New York (NYU). Since 1985, when he began his career, until now, he has been working exclusively in the ICT systems integration market and has held several positions in Greece and abroad, namely in NYU (USA), CITEC spa (Italy), INTRASOFT S.A., AN.DI.P. S.A, APEX S.A.

During the last decade, has held important managerial positions within Quest Group, such as the position of General Manager of DECISION Systems Integration and the position of General Manager of Solutions & Business Applications Business Unit of InfoQuest. Today is the Vice-President and Managing Director of Uni Systems.

For several years has been member of the evaluation committee of the European IST Prize. The European IST Prize was organized by Euro-CASE, the European Council of Applied Sciences, Technologies and Engineering, with the sponsorship and support of the European Commission.

Member of the International Scientific Evaluation Committee of the R&D centers of Greece. The evaluation was organized by the General Secretariat of Research and Development of Greece. Proposal Evaluator of various national R&D projects (PAVE, PEPER) funded by the General Secretariat of Research and Development of Greece.
